BART is the commuter train in the San Francisco Bay area. It was featured in a ride at Universal for a while and in reality was a convenient method for getting into and around the city. It became a dangerous thing for many as gangs and other violence found their way to terrorizing riders. Leave it to California to come up with a solution that just won’t work. It’s In a Handbasket.
The college protests continue across the country and after Friday’s edict from the University of Florida, some students decided to test the limits. They were jailed.
Over the weekend a “sovereign citizen” was killed by police after what should have been a non-confrontational interaction. The “sovereign citizen” turned it into a gun battle that he lost with finality. But, who are these people claiming there is no authority over them, that government is illegitimate and often initiating confrontation when dealing with routine matters? We’ll dive into that in hour two.
