UNF Protesters Released From Jail

(Jacksonville, FL) --The 16 University of North Florida protesters who were arrested Thursday night have been released. This comes after close to three dozen people were in front of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office calling for their release. The protesters had been arrested after they continued demonstrating past the 10 p.m. curfew issued by the university on Thursday. Eight of the 16 arrested were reportedly UNF students.

2 Teens Caught Dumping Trash Off Boca Raton Last Sunday Face Felony Charges

(Miami, FL) -- Two teens caught on video dumping trash into the ocean last weekend during a South Florida boat party are now facing felony charges.  Police say the 15- and 16-year-old suspects were taken into custody on Friday. If convicted, each could be hit with a 250-thousand-dollar fine and five years in jail. Police say the pair dumped the trash just offshore of Boca Raton last Sunday as they were leaving Boca Bash.

Man Wanted For Exposing Himself To Child

(Orlando, FL) -- A man is wanted for exposing himself to a child in Orlando. Orlando Police announced yesterday he exposed himself to a girl Friday morning in the area of Summerlin Ave and Washington Street. The girl was walking to school when the naked man in a car approached. Police say the girl walked away, and the man tried to follow her, but she ran away. The girl's mom called police, and the OPD says officers continue to patrol the area. They're looking for a white man, about six-feet tall, with brown hair in a blue car. 

Tesla Accused Of 100+ Air Pollution Violations

(Fremont, CA) -- Air quality managers in the San Francisco Bay Area are sounding the alarm about Tesla's impact on the region. The local air district accuses the electric vehicle maker's Fremont plant of potentially emitting thousands of tons of illegal pollutants in recent years. After more than 100 notices of violations since 2019, the air district is handing the matter to its enforcement arm, its hearing board to issue an abatement order. The Fremont plant's paint shop is the target of the abatement order. It has been the source of many of the violations. The air district is asking the hearing board to compel the company to take action. Tesla did not respond to requests for comment.

Driver Accelerates Towards Protestors, Douses Them In Pepper Spray

(Portland, OR)-- A man is in custody after police say he accelerated his car towards a crowd outside of the Portland State library. When protestors became angry and approached the vehicle, the man got out, doused them in pepper spray and fled the scene. He was later arrested, and demonstrators smashed out the windows on his car, and spray painted it with pro-Palestinian slogans. No one was hurt.
