Ocala Police Chief Killed In Plane Crash

(Ocala, FL) -- Ocala's police chief is being remembered for his passion for his community, law enforcement and his family. Chief Greg Graham was killed yesterday morning in a plane crash in Dunnellon off Southwest 140th Ave. The FAA is investigating. Graham had been with the Ocala PD for over 30 years, and the department says they'll miss his candor, personality, strong leadership and definitely his smile.

Teacher Transitions Underway In Hillsborough County

(Tampa, FL) -- Today will be a day of change in Hillsborough County schools. Due to budget cuts, some teachers are being reassigned while dozens of others lost their jobs. Nelson Elementary School's Lindsay Valentine is one of those who will have to teach one day a week at another school, Springs Elementary. She tells 10 Tampa Bay it's daunting, but she's trying to see it as a positive to connect with plenty of new kids.

Anti Maskers Hold Protest March In Delray Beach

(Delray Beach, FL) -- A group of anti-mask demonstrators stage a protest march in Delray Beach. The Reopen South Florida rally Saturday was in opposition to the extension by county officials of Palm Beach County's facemask mandate. WPTV reports that organizer Chris Nelson says if today people are being told they can't buy or sell without wearing a mask, it won't stop there. He says, tomorrow people won't be able to buy or sell without showing proof they have been vaccinated. The report says the march ended at Delray Beach Pavilion with a mask burning ceremony.

Florida Police Say Man Ate Woman's $5 Bill

(Gainesville, FL) -- Florida Police say they took a 60-year-old man into custody after he swiped and ate a woman's five-dollar bill. Henry Chambers Jr. was reportedly in Gainesville when the bill was being handed to Kadisha Grant. He is said to have told her he would die before returning it and then proceeded to chew and swallow it. He has been charged with felony robbery by sudden snatching. There is no word on his motive.

Thai Woman Attacked By Python While On Toilet

(Thailand) -- One Thai woman is recovering after facing an attack from a python while she was on the toilet. The 54-year-old said she was sitting down on the pot when she felt a searing pain and saw blood running down her leg. She reached down, and an over six-foot python bit her finger. The woman managed to get away and was rushed to the hospital, where she was given antibiotics. Animal rescuers captured the snake and released it into the wild.
