Before the week’s over, let’s have just one more bit of fun thanks to the Super Bowl…it comes from Philadelphia. Remember fat Jared who became skinny Jared, they told us, because of eating a diet of Subway subs? Remember that he’s in prison because he’s a perv? He is trying to weasel out of his prison time with a claim about the judge. It further proves, he’s not only a perv, he’s also an idiot!
In hour 2 today State Representative Randy Fine joins us to provide our weekly legislative update. Both houses have budgets; they are close in size, but far apart on specifics. Then, Randy has a beef with a pop star performing in Florida after ditching a concert in Israel. The ongoing feud between Randy and County Commissioner Jim Barfield is now having a negative impact on the bid process in Brevard. Guys- you both have your jobs to do…they don’t involve bringing us into your little personal squabble. So…STOP IT!
Florida Today Executive Editor Bob Gabordi is with us at 8am. He and I have different takes on Sheriff Ivey’s policy to investigate deputy involved shootings internally. And the Editorial Board and I differ on restoring voting rights to felons automatically. We’ll see what else we dig up as we close our talk week.
